Mallory took this today while we were in Frigiliana. Doesn’t it seem photoshopped? We were both wearing these sort of obnoxiously bright jackets, mine red (obviously) and hers bright orange. We stuck out in this all white Minis Tirith-like town, surely. We walked about Frigiliana and the coastal town close to it, Nerja for hours. There are so many cute shops and restaurants. Also, to be clear, Spanish churros are one of the most delicious things I have ever tasted. And when they say “churros con chocolate” it’s not a chocolate dipped churro… it’s a glass of drinking chocolate (you know, that super thick hot chocolate-like stuff they had at Starbees a few years ago that was basically just a melted hershey bar in a cup?) and a bunch of churros to dip in it. They’re good without the chocolate - get cafe con leche instead.
Anyway, the weather was phenomenal for us and we both got a tad bit sunburned. I blame the whiteness of everything, bouncing the sunlight in every-which direction.
I highly recommend the place to everyone. Except people with bad hips and knees, or people who hate walking.
Next weekend: Sevilla!
